update

It has been along time since Iwas on here. I actually forgot my info.. I have been forgetting things alot lately.

Chris and Connor are doing great. I just got their spring pics back and am getting them set out for people. Both boys have concerts in May. Chris is in band and 6th graders arre only required to play in 2 concerts, the winter nad spring. 7th and 8th grades play in everything. He says he doesn't want to do band in 7th. Don't really blame him. Connor is in chorus and since chorus was so huge this year it was split in 2 . Track 4 had the first part of the year and the winter concert. Tracks 1 and 2 have last part of the year and the spring concert. He wants to do chorus again in
5th grade.

I take classes on Saturdays for an hour or 2. I'm working on geting my GED finally. I doing Math and some Science. Did the English on my own and am doing Social Studies on my own. Just brushing up on S.S.'s. Main thing is the math as its Algebra. Passed pre-algebra but just about failed algebra 1.

Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing is doing great. I'm closing my princess house business down. Not making anything and its costing to much to keep it open.

John is still out of work. He needs to find something. He is driving me nuts. Between him and his mother, I'm about ready to have a bathroom built in to the shed and kick them out.

Granma is home from the hospital. Aunt Donna and Uncle Mark came down. Aunt Joanne and Uncle Jack came down. Uncle Dan came up and Uncle Joe came down. They all took turns staying with granma when she came home. Uncle Bob was glad to see them all. While she was in the hospital Aunt Donna and Uncle MArk and Aunt Joanne and Uncle Jack were here.

Update

John is set to come home in 2 weeks. He has been gone since Feb.. The 1st week or so will be alittle rough. Everyone has to get use to everyone being around. He is bringing his mom with him. The house has been quiet w/o Shasta here, but now that she is coming back, I need to buy stock in advil. Chris has his 5th grade graduation June 30th. He starts 6th grade in July when we track back in. Connor will be in 4th. My babies are growing up!!!!!!!!!!!! My businesses are doing ok. I have a few things to work on. I've decided that we will be going back to church. The boys and I will be visiting a few churches and we will go to the one that we are comfortable with. We are having another yard sale tomorrow. Hopefully its better than the one last week. I have another one next Saturday in Fuquay. I'm getting rid of everything and anything I can. On June 27th, a few of us are getting together and taking our kids to the ZOO. It will be fun for all of us. I'm going to make sure I buy an extra battery for the camara. Well, I'm gonna get ready for bed, yard sale starts @ 7:30, so I have to get up @ 5:45 to set up and go put the signs out.

I'm ready for Friday already!!!!

We had a busy weekend. Yesterday and today were kinda busy days too. I cut some more grass tonight too. It sucks cutting this much grass with a push mower. I get one side done start on the other and the 1st side needs done again. Anyway, I made a Facebook page yesterday when I took a break. I'mnot sure I like facebook. I like myspace better. Lol, I have to write down all the sites,what email I used and password. I'm getting a bit forgetful lately.

I'm getting tired of the smart mouths the boys have developed lately. If we talked like that when we were kids, you got smacked and noone said poops about it. Nowadays, its you shouldn't do that. I smack their butts still when they need it. Chris is going through some of his preteen I'm going to push and see how far I can get stuff. He isn't getting very far by the way.

Connor just wants to play and ignore what I say. He don't like it when everyone else is playing and he can't.

The boys and I are going to start doing more things together like we use to. I just have to get something done about the grass. We use to play games, go for walks, watch a movie and do things as a family.

My kids will go back to the way they were. This whole house is going through a change and I need to set limits and they will be followed. Chris will be 13 this year and I'mnot going to have him acting like some of the kids I've seen lately. Connor is 10 and he will have his limits too. I am one person and still need to have a little bit of time for me so that I don't go insane. I wish mom was here to give me her 2cents, not to say that I would follow it, but it would be added to the list of things to try if needed. Wow, now that I've actually sat down for 15 minutes, I can feel how tired I am. I will actually be able to get some rest this weekend.

By the way, I don't have my cell phone right now.I haven't had it since Saturday. I dove in the pool after Courtney and it was in my pocket. She figured out how to throw her weight enough to push the float forward and wiggle enough that she could climb out. I am waiting for my new cell and I will also be getting a new number. I will let you know when I get it, so you can send me your number. All my info is gone. All my numbers were in my phone. I never bothered to write them down. You can bet your bottome dollar I will write them down now as I get them back. Well, I think I'm goling to head to bed. Hope you had a Happy Mother's Day!

Thank god its the weekend!!

Its been a very very long week. I am ready to get some rest. I am doing an event for Princess House tomorrow and then a Presentation for Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing Sunday. I'm working both businesses this weekend. I will get alittle bit of rest, but its much needed and welcomed!! :) This is our last month of school for this year. When we track back in, in July we will begin our 2009-2010 school yr.. We go to school for 9 wks then track out for 3. Its confusing at first, but its wonderful. The kids are doing much better. June 2nd is our last day. It would be nice to see everyone again, its been awhile. Uncle Bob had a breakdown yesterday. I think he is alittle better now since John called him and talked to him. I think everyone kinda forgets about him and its not right. He would be happy if he got a letter in the mail or someone sent him pictures of something or even a card. It makes him feel like they care and remember him. All he wants is for everyone to take a second and say "Hey Bob, how are ya?" "Here is a picture for you" or whatever. He don't get to go anywhere. Yeah well, can't make anyone do it. I'm hoping that my husband gets his booty home soon. We miss him. He's been gone long enough.With him gone, I've got double the work load with everything else I got going on as well. By the time the weekend comes around, my body says hey remember me, I need a rest thank you. Well, I'm off to bed have to be setup by 10. So to me that means I should try to be done by 9:45am.

Update for today

I've been busy catching everything up. Finally got my grass cut last week. My neighbor helped with that. I was mowing with the push mower and he came over with his riding mower and cut it. That was a big help. John talked to the guy that wanted to buy his moms house today, dude must be smoking something. The house the way it is right now is worth $199,000 we dropped it to $189,000 for him. today he told JOhn he'd take it for $130,000. Hello knock-knock anybody in there??????????? So I guess John wont be home at the end of May now. I'm shopping around for another car. Once I get a decent car, I will be taking a trip to PA. I'm looking for a part time job now as well. I have been with Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing for a month and I need to have something to help out until I get set up. I still have Princess House, but people aren't buying much right now. I'm doing a vendor event this Saturday and will be selling (cash and carry) things I ordered but never used or used as gifts. I have to get some money up. Before you know it Christmas will be here. courtney is getting big and talking more. Potty trainning is a bit of an issuse for Kim. I told her to have courtney sit on the potty while watching tv or reading a book. when I have her, before she gets a bath she gets on the big potty and when she gets out she gets on it. I was doing that to help her get use to it and get her in a routine. But since she doesn't live we us anymore, there isn't much I can do to help. I also told her to try the pee colors trick Amy shared. I also told her that she can't rush her. Well, I'll try to post another blog tomorrow. Tuesdays are very busy for me. I hope to get some pics of the kids soon and put them on here. I'm beat and gonna head upstairs.

What a start to the week!

We haven't adjusted to the time change yet. Last week the kids were late to school 4 times. Today we got up at 8 and even though we left the house on time, they were still late as they decided to walk as slowly as they could into the school. I guess I'm going to have to set both alarms for 5:45am. The only day they weren't late both alarms were set for 5:45am. Chris has started with his teenage tude already. He does help me without a fight sometimes. Other times its like why do I have to????? I have informed him that I will be setting a time limit on the computer and if he wants extra time he has to earn it. I'm also going back to having a chart for the kids. I feel that they should be keeping their rooms clean. I also feel that there is no reason they can't help out around the house alittle bit either. I don't ask them to do much. They get paid for what they do. It stormed like crazy today. Pollen is everywhere and my allergies are acting up. I just took an allergy pill. I should have took it this morning. I started a myspace page yesterday and am keeping in touch with the rest of the family that has it. Everyone is shocked, b/c I would always say you are not getting on that in my house. I always heard bad things. But you have bad site everywhere. My husband doesn't know I did that yet. He will probably have a bird, but he will just have to understand why I have it. Well, dinner will be interesting tonight. I'm making sloppy joes and sometimes I get can't we have that tomorrow I want spaghetti. We had spaghetti several times in the past 2 weeks. John loves sloppy joes, but he aint here. He is still in PA taking care of his mom and trying to sell the house. She has finished PT and nurse visits are doone with now as well. Hopefully he will be home soon. We miss him and his silly self. We love you ya big goof ball!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update for today

Today for the 1st time, I was on myspace and decided to create a page after finding out that several members of my family have a page and thats how they all keep in contact. I will see how it goes, I have heard some bad things about myspace. But bad people are everywhere. The kids and I did alot of housework this weekend. Courtney was here for the weekend as well. It was nice to see her and spend time with her. I will get some pics posted soon. Its time for us to start getting ready for bed. Our bodies haven't adjusted to the time change yet. Which is strange b/c its usually the fall time change we have problems with, not spring.
